This is the Spartan Race and though this blog is for artwork, my life inspires my creativity and this inspires me. There are times when I feel like I will go no where, but I will show everyone how great I am. I am afraid of failure, but without failure, there will never be success. This video inspires me to be great because I am great.

The quality might not be amazing because the picture was taken with my phone but late at night when the lights shine like fairies in a dark room, I can't help but fall in love with the city I know so well.
I was watching music videos on youtube last week and I found this song. I was immediately obsessed with it. I grew up with music (my mother studied ethnomusicology and she played piano and various traditional Chinese instruments and she sang, I started singing with my mother when I was around 4 and began playing piano at the age of 5, I have been playing trumpet since fourth grade and have been in a few bands, jazz bands, and an orchestra. I also attended an intense music camp for three years.) and it has been an important part of who I am. This song is beautiful and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
